"Chapter 1" elaborates the different type classification found in things around us. It will talk about their characteristics and suitability, as well as formal differences from each different types. The classification of type is dividing type into many different categories which consist of: blackletter, old style, transitional, modern, slab serif, and sans serif (grotesque, humanist, geometric). These types are being fractionate according their historical background and their observable features and structures.
